The St. Mary’s County Science and Engineering Fair (SMCSEF) is a not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to assist and encourage students to expand their scientific and engineering knowledge, pursue a career in the scientific or engineering field, and to practice their chosen professions in St. Mary’s County, Maryland. We provide a venue for students to compete against one another for awards and accolades in order to hone their abilities to conduct scientific and engineering analysis, as well as demonstrate their ability to persuasively and precisely convey technical information and conclusions.
