*Category Award Fund Sponsorship provides funds for monetary awards for first-place winners in each category and Sparkle Awards. If ample funds are unavailable, the donations will either be held until the following year or used to defray student participation expenses for the Regional Science and Engineering Fair or the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair.
